Visit the Staunton Campus
Our historic undergraduate residential campus is located in Staunton, VA. From Flying Squirrels games to Shakespearean performances to Quidditch matches, we offer a student experience like no other. Plus, we’re located just minutes from Staunton’s historic downtown area and many cultural attractions.
Open Houses
A great way to get a feel for our campus and culture is to attend an open house.
Here’s what we have coming up:
Event Schedule
9:00 a.m. – Check in with light refreshments available at The Student Activity Center. Mingle with coaches, faculty and staff.
10 a.m. – Welcome to ³ÉÈ˶¶Òô opening remarks at The Student Activity Center
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – MB Signature Expo at Pearce Science Center: Visit with faculty and staff. Learn how the following four components of the MB Signature experience set our students up for real-world success.
- Experiences that build skills
- Network of support
- Career-focused academics
- Diverse and engaged community
10:45 a.m OR 11:30 a.m. – Panel discussion at Hunt Gallery: Academics, student advising, and McCree Center for Life Success
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Hunt Dining Hall: Lunch and Mini Club Rush
11:15 a.m. OR 12:00 p.m – Francis Auditorium: Panel discussion on financial aid and scholarship opportunities
11:30a.m to 1 p.m. – Campus tours
2: 00 p.m to 2:30 p.m. – Page Terrace: Door prizes and meet-and-greet with Baldwin
2:30 p.m. – Cheer on the Fighting Squirrels at the women’s soccer game (optional)
Schedule may vary.
These events will include on-site admission decisions, financial aid support, academic advising, and preliminary transcript evaluations.

Here’s what you can look forward to during the overnight program:
- Overview of VWIL and ROTC from both the program director and current students
- A campus tour with cadet hosts to see classrooms, labs, dorms, and dining areas to get a true feel for campus life
- You can even participate in light physical training, parade practice, and a retreat ceremony with VWIL cadets
- Stay overnight with a current cadet to learn more about what it’s like to be an ³ÉÈ˶¶Òô student
This overnight visit is your chance to get a real sense of the VWIL experience and see why this program has empowered so many to lead in both their military and civilian careers.
Campus Tours
Small Group Tours
We’re open for small group campus tours at 10 am and 2 pm, Monday through Friday. Tours last about an hour. We encourage you to schedule a 30-minute meeting afterward with an admissions counselor.
Self-Guided Tour
Looking to explore campus on your own? We’ve got you covered! Schedule your self-guided tour, and we’ll provide you with the materials you need to navigate campus on your own. Please note that Self-Guided Walking Tours are available for the Staunton campus only.
Shakespeare & Performance Tour
This program tour will unveil a world of captivating performances, enriching class insights, and immersive discussions. Attend a show at the American Shakespeare Center and connect with fellow students. Explore Staunton’s charm and embrace the theatrical journey that awaits.
Virtual Visits

Visit the Murphy Deming Campus
Mary Baldwin’s Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences is located in Fishersville, VA, just a few miles from the Staunton campus. Students enrolled in our physical therapy, occupational therapy, and physician assistant programs call this state-of-the-art campus their home.

Can’t attend an open house or prefer a smaller group experience? Campus visits give you an opportunity to:
- Tour the MDCHS campus
- Meet with current students and faculty in your desired program
- Sit in on a class in your desired program
Drop in to a virtual information sessions (via Zoom) to learn more about the PT, OT, and PA programs from the faculty themselves.
